Sit in the Rose Garden and enjoy the views to the mountains  of West Cork. Follow the maze through the  natural wild flower meadow and identify the  numerous species of grasses, flowers and butterflies. Or  just relax in the orchard. Behind the Croft is a south facing perennial fruit & veg garden with raised beds of rhubarb, whilst behind the Gallery cottage is a herb garden. The homestead is bordered by fuchsia hedges and montbrecia -  native species of West Cork. At harvest time visitors enjoy vegetables from the garden and greenhouses.
