Greenville Campus

Greenville Campus

On Saturday July 21st 2018, the public are invited to join the Cork Association for Autism at their 40th Anniversary Garden Party which will take place at the extensive gardens and grounds of Greenville, the charity’s very first service campus, to  learn the story of how a small number of individuals determined to secure their children’s future, managed to create such a haven of oasis armed with nothing but sheer perseverance and a belief in their cause.

The Greenville Campus grounds expand over acres of land, which has been carefully cultivated over the years by a dedicated horticulture team to create a magical setting where today they provide one to one therapies to the people who avail of the services offered at the campus. The Greenville grounds also boast home to a sensational sensory garden, bedded areas, a fruit garden, a glasshouse, numerous polytunnels, berry cages not to mention wonderful woodland walks.

Refreshments will be served throughout the day and guided tours of the campus will be available. Carol Walsh Fundraising Coordinator is looking forward to welcoming the public on the day. “As a small charity we truly rely on the goodwill and generosity of the local community and over the past four decades we have been lucky enough to be in a community which continuously supports us in the work we do. We’re really looking forward to welcoming the public and all that have contributed to our mission over the years, to see first-hand the difference they have made.”

Tickets are available on the door and are €5 p/p with children under 12 going free. Entry fee will include tea/coffee and light refreshments. The perfect way to spend a relaxing Sunday in the Summer Sunshine.
