Created in 2007, This is a relatively new garden. The garden is designed to attract visiting wildlife as well as to create a place for humans to relax and enjoy. Also featuring an adjoining nursery specialising in hardy ferns, as well as some other shade loving plants. The garden has an interesting collection of unusual plants including rare trees, shrubs, hardy ferns and fuchsias. There are many seating areas to relax and appreciate the garden, including by the wildlife pond. The pond is home to many dragonflies, frogs and other wildlife that also enjoy small stream at the bottom of the garden. The gardens, including the fern nursery, comprise approximately 2 acres. Young trees form the backbone of the planting providing seasonal interest with various blossoms and a wide range of autumn colours. A variety of Primulas provide bursts of colour throughout spring and early summer. Ferns and grasses grow and run the show before the autumn colours take over.
