last year was the third year of eighteen apple trees in our new orchard. There were only four apples in the whole orchard that developed. there was plenty of blossom.. would you suggest we buy a butterfly tree to attract some pollination. as i understand the bees have decreased in numbers. Thanking you in anticipation. all the beetroot was taken out of tunnel today and a small proportion have been cooked as baby beetroot

This beetroot survived the extreme frosts and has grown very well with mostly top leaves and the beetroot under ground is NOT maturing. I am feeding once a week with tomatoe feed. for the past 4 weeks. will i continue in this fashion or clear them all out as a lost cause.

I have a magnolia tree sheltered behind a wall from a cold east wind. The branches above the wall have buds way behind the lower protected buds. Would you suggest i cut this tree to keep it lower, therefore the buds will all bloom at the same time if yes when?
