is it too late to set a new lawn as the weather this month very wet

do you recomend chicken feed see them alot in garden centres

i have 2 large house plants the ends of the leaves are gone brown i was told to water them once everyweek should i water them sooner and can i clip off the ends of the leaves that are gone brown

can i put salt around shrubs so snails wont attact them and if so when it rains will the salt kill the roots of the shrubs

i want to plant colourful plants that will spread and grow to aheight of 2 ft or under the length of the thrench is about 50 feet and 25 inches wide something that will catch the eye
