I have seen cherry blossom planted with Sorbus aria 'Lutescens' - I cannot identify which type of Prunus is being used. The blossom was light pink and coincided with the emergence of the leaves on the whitebeam. Can you shed any light on this for me please?

My dog died this morning & we buried her in the garden, she was a golden retreiver.I would like to plant something where we buried her. Can you suggest something?perhaps with the word golden in it,or a golden type plant or flower.I am living in Ratoath Co Meath now so something that will suit that soil and weather also.
