I plan to plant a specimen tree very near the house, approx 15ft from house. The site is exposed out the back of the house with a beautiful view. The tree will add interest to the back of the house as it's all about the view at the back of the house. I love maple trees, we have alot of ash nearby, I would like a low mainteance tree that grows to approx 15-20 ft Thanks

I am looking for advice on what plant to use. The job I want it to do is hang down and cover a wall from top to bottom. I was going to put planting boxes on a wall and allow a flower to grow down out of the box and eventually cover the wall. The wall is roughly 1 metre in height. I was thinking Ivy, any suggestions?
