I have a problem with my beech trees, planted as bare roots this year, the leaves have yellowed and have some holes and brown around the edges. also some larger beech and ash that were planted before we bought the house have the same with some of the small branches dying. the top half of one beech died completely and broke off. It is a very limey area could this be a cause? Or could greenfly cause this much damage?
