Something is eating the leaves on my newly planted Magnolia tree,it was planted approx five weeks ago,I put grit around the base of the plant as I thought it was slugs,have not seen any slug trail since ,but the leaves are still being eaten.Corkylad

Our back garden is paved with bricks and we cannot keep the weeds down. It has no drainage what so ever and when we remove the weeds they are back before we have finished whole area. we have tried weedkillers but to no avail. there is grass growing between the bricks aswell. What advice would you have to get rid of them once and for all. We have 2 dogs so have to be careful what spray.

I have a sack of sulphate of iron granules. what amount of this do i put in a watering can, to help get rid of moss, and what amount would i use to water into the plants as a feed?

I think I may have lost a lovely blueberry bush, it may have been damaged by very windy weather in May. it was in full bloom, but alas now looks all shrivelled up. I have other b'berry plants also in containers and they look ok. I water with rain water.If I cut off the damaged parts would it recover?
