this holly is planted about 3 or 4 years and it is struggling. the leaves don't seem to want too open up and it has made no noticeable growth in spite of being fed during the growing season. should i leave it or dig it up? i'm not sure but i thought it was silver milkboy but now i'm having doubts..it has nice yellow bark and a smoky green leave
can branches be encouraged to grow on the "bare" side of the weeping mountain ash. all the weeping branches are on the one side at the moment. can i nick the bark on the trunk to encourage shoots
where can I obtain cocoa shell mulch in bulk at a reasonable price. I need to cover a large area approx 100 sq metres.
have attached a photo of my wonderful Crambe. Planted last year and only produced leaves which the caterpillars promptly razed to the ground! Loads of horse manure and garlic spray produced this beautiful plant - but its in the wrong place. Didn't plan for the size. it hids the lupins and whorlflower and aconite and lilac and alliums behind but the small birds and the bees love it! does it mind being moved? and if not when? is it a root or tuber or what?
Gerry, Do you have any idea what variety of geranium this is? Michael
