yesterday I put in a black elder, healthy with flowers about to bloom, this morning it was flattened and broken, the stem is covered with cat hair as if a cat rubbed and rubbed itself on it. Is there something that attracts cats in it and also will it come back if I leave it in and protect it?

I re-potted 3 small nasturtium plants into a large pot and they have been thriving - the leaves are huge! However I still see no sign of any buds or flowers despite the fact that I planted them about 2 months ago and they have clearly been growing well. I water regularly except during wet spells and they get plenty sunlight. Is there a problem or do I just need to sit tight.

My acanthus spinosa has some sort of leaf mould. It looks as though someone has sprinked a greyish talcum powder on to the leaves. One of the plants is about to flower so can't be too unhealthy; but another doesn't look so good. What do you recommend?
