We have a small garden. We would like to plant strawberries as before. Every year Rhubarb that was planted by the previous homeowner over grows out of hand. How do I terminate the rhubarb from growing?

I have the opportunity to plant a veg plot in my parents back garden. It is however very shaded by very big conifer trees. Would this inhibit growth? I hope not as am very anxious to get started and have no space of my own.

I have a bed with some shrubs and hedging at the front of my house that I covered with weed membrane and gravel. I have to weed the area regularly at this time of year. Is there anything I can kill the weeds off with that I can spray directly onto the gravel without harming the plants?

I planted a black bamboo last year and due to lack of water it now looks like it may be dying. The majority of the leaves are yellowy-brown in colour. Is there anything I can do to save it now? Should I feed it with anything in particular or trim it maybe?
