I have 2 james stirling hebes but one of these seems to be losing its leaves. one side of it is bald.
Recently planted a bare root copper beech hedge, at a 100 metres in total and set out with the typical guidelines of 18 inches apart, compost used etc. The next step is to figure out how and when to prune this particular type of hedging? The bare roots themselves are approx a foot and a half above ground level and were planted over a week ago. I would appreciate any pruning suggestions you may have.Look forward to hearing from you...
I have a kiwi fruit vine growing in a pot in my greenhouse. It is growing very fast and i would like to prune it back. could you explain how to do this without losing all my fruit buds for next year. Last year was first year i had 3 flowers and 3 fruit this year lots of flower buds Thanks AEP
i have a fairly big lawn out the back of the house and i want to plant some trees for shelter as the wind can be very strong at times, i don't want to take away from the sun setting eithre as that is where it sets in the evening.Could you please advise me on what trees to plant. thanks
I bought 7 choisya ternata sundance last year and they havent grown at all.They are not dying but they dont look good.They dont seem to be diseased aor have pests.Abour 2 weks i dug them up and filled the hole with a mix of sand and compsotadded osmocote and repalnted them.Im hoping this will help but have you got any other sugestions?
Hi Gerry. I have just built my dream home in the country on a large (3/4 acre) site. We laid the lawns last year but don't know what to do with the boundry ditches as they are covered in brambles. Any low cost suggestions?
