Hi Gerry, I planted a number of seeds trays two weeks ago today, and made the error of re-using some potting compost that I had in other trays that I used over winter, which had developted an algae/moss growth on top. As a result, a number of my trays contain the re-appearance of this alage like growth. The trays contain Lobelia and Antherinthums with another containning Geraniums. The Lobelia, sowed on surface, appear to be germinating. However, Im not sure how the algae growth will affect them, or with future watering what will happen. Can you advise Thanks Darren

Hi Gerry, having ploughed part of my garden for potatoes mainly, would it be ok to spread used strawberry grow bags to mix into the soil, as a friend has told me to get as much as I want for free. Regards Bigfoot
