Gerry,They grew particularly well, albeit slow. Having moved them from glass house to garden troughout the summer as warm weather was inconsistent. Also, I planted them up in the pictured large pots. While they could not be potbound, recently the leaves on them have become droupped and yellow, falling off. With new leaf stems jilting out where the leaves older leaves met the stem, Im just a little concerned of the current rate of wilting. The buds of flowers appear healthy with five on the one pictured. Can you advise?ThanksDarren

Hi,I'm new to growing lavender and want to grow some cuttings from the plant.Do you have any pictures of what a 'heel' of older wood looks like? I kind of get the idea of what I am suppose to do but I am not sure what a heel of older wood looks like in my own lavender plant.I have provided a close up pic of my lavender bush in the hope it may be of assistance with my query.

I have just laid a patio and i would love to grow fruit in tubs/containers...i am thinking specifically strawberries, gooseberries, blackberries, more what I call the old fashioned fruits. Problem is i am a total novice. Am I being unrealistic as i have never done anything like this before or is it a relatively easy undertaking

I have lots of plants in the wrong places. Is there a rule of thumb about when shrubs and perennials and small trees can be moved? Is there a best-time-of-year, or is when they begin to die down - or is there no overall rule?

My Elephant Yucca has a large spine left after flowering. Should this be left as it is or what is best to do with it.

Hello,As per previous posters, I am also growing "Gardeners Delight", the plants are healthy and are producing a lot of tomatoes. However, they are no signs of the tomatoes ripening. I am watering them regularly and feeding them once a week. I am pinching out the new side shoots but I am wondering if I should also pinch the tops to prevent more flowers from producing so that the plan can "concentrate" on the fruit? I know that more sunshine would also help, but there is nothing I can do about this... The plants are in a sunny sheltered spot outdoors. Thank you!
