Can you please tell me when is the best time to prune a large polar cherry. It has reached 30 feet and is too tall for its location. It has been planted 12 years. I have been told by some to prune before end of August others say end of October?

I have been growing various varieties of nasturtiums from seed for the last few years, but they have never seeded themselves, I find myself having to get new seeds each year. Do you know of anywhere where I might be able to get hold of nasturtium seeds capable of producing fertile seeds themselves?

what could be causing my new clematis to wilt? would the recent wind and rain be anything to do with it? where my patio is situated is fairly open to the elements and i dont seem to have as much luck with my gardening since i moved here. I have planted a lot of flowering plants before in other abodes, but by times i really loose heart with the results of my efforts here.
