Hi, I bought two bay trees last July, one of them is now looking very ill. I've watered it, put organic chicken manure in the soil, tried tomato feed in it too but nothing seems to have worked. Is there anything I can do to bring it around?
I have spent a fortune on beautiful plants only to find the heavy salt laiden atlantic winds burn before and after them. I so long to have colour and form in my garden but other than hebe and escallonia, is there anything alse that i could grow in such an exposed site as Belmullet , Co.Mayo?
I have two Heuchera Coral Bell Plants in my garden planted in similar areas, one is fantastic and the other is in trouble, the leaves at the base of the plant have become dry and brittle and essentially are dead, is this as a result of bugs and if so what is the best course of action.
i have a silver birch which gets sunlight under it for most of the day. There is gravel on the ground underneath. Could you recommond plants or shrubs (preferably with colour) to grow under it. Thanks

Hi we have 2 yellow bamboo trees in the garden that look like they are on the way out...The stalks are green but the leaves look really dry and brittle. They are positioned where the midday sun comes over the house directly onto them. Any ideas as to how I can regenerate them.
