Hi Gerry, I bought a honey bush at Blooms last year and underestimated how big it would grow! It's at the front of my garden and overshadowing everything else. I need to move it but since it's so lovely, don't want to kill it! When can i move it ,if ever, without killing it.. or over upsetting it! Sadly it's very happy where it is!

I've recently set Cherry Tomatoes, indoors in a window box - They are about 20cm's in height now. Do I pinch the tops off and when and why? Love the website.

I got a 3 5ft tree ferns for the garden last August. When one of them was being planted, it fell over. It did not appear damaged at the time but I notice that there is no new growth on this tree this year. There are 3 budding fern leaves in the trunk core but they are black. I don't know how long they have been like this. I only started looking at them as the weather improved. The other two trees are in the same area and doing well.Do you think this may be a sign that trunk broke internally when it fell? The ferns that were on it when it arrived stayed green until recently and they are now browning. Thanks in advance Margaret Murphy

Hi Gerry, could you please advise on the best windbreak shrub for a site on the side of a mountain. North winds enter on the same level as the house. NW winds enter from above a rock face approx. 6 meters above sitel level. Windbreak needed on top of rock face. No space on ground level. Very little soil on NW side but lots of rocks so shallow roots shrub would be ideal. Trees would block the afternoon sun. Also any plants cannot be poisenous to animals. Thank you

many of the leaves on my shop bought tomato plants look patterned with yellow and if held up to the light up can see through 50% of the leaf. They are in a polytunnel and are watered daily. Some later bought plants near to these originals appear to be fine, same soil etc. I'm wondering what this can be. thanks for your help
