Can you recommend a suitable hedge that will grow to approx 8 - 10ft very fast. It will be used as a ditch instead of replacing old fencing that is there as present. Thank you

Hi Gerry, just wondering if slugs eat seeds .
I sowed some seeds and put a few glass window frames over them and the next morning there were quite a few slugs and trails around.
Do you think I should start again?

I planted some sweet peas in pots last autumn. I have them in a cold frame and they are doing well. Can I plant them in the ground now, or should I wait until the weather gets warmer?
Thanks
