Mowed lawn yesterday today there are some holes about 2" diameter and 4" deep with grass pulled up and left on side. A neighbour has had the same problem already with alot of damage. What might it be and how to stop it please.
I want to get rid of an old phformium -just plain green one- its too big and it would be impossible to cut it down. I usually trim them with a sharp knife but for this one I would spend a week to get rid of it. I want to replant the spot with something else and this one survived the frost so I need something else please.
Could you please give me the names of the plants to grow around the soakpit to help remove the nutrients from the water and if possible where to buy them. I have heard them discussed on the radio by no names were given.
How do I get rid of Arum italicum pictum, it has infested several beds and I think a spray would be best as there are hundreds of tiny bulbs all seem to be viable unfortunately.
Our Bramley is sick, its 30 years old lots of blossom but few apples and leaves are sparse except on the top, would it have suffered during the dry spell? Our soil acid dries out but none of the other trees have suffered. We have had a bumper crop each year and was expecting the same again because of the blossom and weather was good for setting,Is there anything I can do now water/ feed? All other fruit is ok and has cropped well.
