I moved into this house 4 years ago and there was a rose bush outside, i don't know how many years its been there, it is beautiful but i think it could be a climbing rose, it has grown very tall, it is a bit exposed and has no shelter, i have put bamboo sticks and gardening tape around it but with the wind it is still breaking, i have a shed outside with a flower bed in front of it and wondered would it be better protected there growing against a wall, if l wait and move it in october when i cut it back would i damage the rose bush if it has been in that spot for years, i have only discovered gardening this year and am really only a beginner and don't want to ruin the rose bush, thanks
