After cutting down hedge and turning it into woodchip I was just wondering is it a good idea to use this fresh wood chip, under a new Laurel hedge where the old hedge existed, for the purpose of weed control?
Escolina hedge that is bare and shows no sign of life at all, is there any hope or point in leaving it until mid summer to give it a chance? Or should i Just cut it down now before over taken with weeds.Also on another point if Laurel was planted is it ok to cut with hedge trimmers when established ? as heard of stories about burnt leaf effect when cut instead of pruned
