Our 5 year old escallonia hedging has become bare and woody from the bottom to 3/4 of the way up. It is about 5' high, and until the end of September was thick and and healthy. The leaves have black spots, turn yellow and fall off. This problem is running right through a long border hedging. Is there anything that we can do to save and revise it?
