I have a driveway with lawsons cypress either side. Not sure of age but would estimate maybe 15 to 20 yrs. On one side, one tree started to deteriorate last year, now completely dead. Symptoms beginning to spread to trees on one same side of drive. I can't find any sign of pest infestation such as scale insects, aphids or environmental damage so I am suspecting honey fungus. Apart from digging out tree and roots which I don't have the means to do, Is there a more practical control to this problem if honey fungus is confirmed?
