I planted a rosemary last autumn and it seemed to be thriving, but has died, possibly due to the cold weather. I dug it up today to dispose of it and discovered an abundance of yellow balls, about the size of coriander seeds, in the rootball. I squeezed a few and they burst, the insides a bit like dandelion milk. What are they?
