What is the fastest growing ivy- i need it to cover horrible block walls -height 4ft at the front of the house and 8 ft at the back. or any other suggestions for fast growing all year round cover.

Is it too early to tie down daffodils, they look so untidy when the heads have withered but I have been told to let them wither more- is it bad to just clip them back instead of tieing them down as it takes up so much time when you have a lot of them in a bed where you want to plant more plants at the moment
