I have a laurel hedge that is about 2/3 year old. However i only planted it last october. Should I prune the hedge and put fertiliser on it for the winter? I want the hedge to be thick and tall. Some of the trees are filling out while others are quite tall and not so thick.
I planted laurel hedging last october but i have noticed in the last couple of weeks the tips of the leaves have turned brown. What could be causing this? and some of the new growth have also withered and turned brown. i put 10 10 20 fertiliser on it about 6 weeks ago as i was advised by my local garden centre as the leaves were turning yellow and they believed the soil was lacking nutrients.
