I have a large area with very poor soil that I want to plant with trees. What trees are fairly fast growing and will grow in poor soil? I like leafy treesWhere can I buy starter trees ( think they are called saplings) in the Galway area?

I was asking advise earlier in the year regarding a corydline tree that I thought was completely finished after the frost. I am now delighted to say that the base is covered with new shoots, brilliant but is it best to thin out the shoots and have just a few remaining?

I have an outdoor yucca tree, 15ft tall with the leaves all dying on top and bottom of tree, also pink fungus growing on trunks of tree, ( three trunks)what can i doplease help as it was my mothers, Thanks . tree growing in poorly drained lawn , mostly moss but always grew there, no problem
