I need to move an established Corylus avellana ‘Contorta’ to another part of the garden. It is circa 9 foot high and the same in width. I think the coming weeks is the best time. Can you advise please of the best way to move it and necessary preparations for the move. Although unusual and possibly not to everybody’s taste I am very fond of it and I am afraid of harmingit. It.has just produced hazel nuts. Would appreciate your help.
