We have two 30 yr old Cordylines (palm Trees) in our front garden (north facing). One is sheltered but the other one has taken the brunt of our bad winter, it has lost all leaves, and all side branches seems to be dead. A weird looking orange/pink sap oozed out from the bottom of main trunk, from about 4 foot from the base, but this has now stopped. Can this huge tree be saved, or do we cut it down…. (I really hope not).
