We just closed off and put top soil into raised bed, we did not kill grass before hand, as we are new to vegetable growing, I am wondering if we can now start off some vegetables in our raised bed, or do we need to put in manure on top of the top soil. please advise what is next step and what to plant in our new raised bed.
